Hey Sightseers, what is fish stocking? Is there a “right way” to fish stock a lake? Why do we even fish stock lakes and streams anyway? Today we look to answer some of these questions as we get a close up view of how sport fishermen stock black crappie by hand in one of Northeastern Wisconsin’s inland lakes.

Ahh, I remember! When I lived on the farm, the state park was in my backyard and the water was so green and nasty they had to have a major fish kill and get the rough fish out of there, then they restocked it and it was fine! Thanks for sharing!
